Mount Lawrence follows filmmaker Chandler Wild as he embarks on a journey to reconnect with his adventure-seeking and outdoor-loving father, who became a victim of suicide years before. Chandler sets off on a 6,708 mile bicycle journey from NYC to the end of the road in Alaska, where he'll climb to the top of an unnamed mountain and name it after his father, Lawrence.
Chandler's desire to leave something in remembrance of the life his father lived, and make peace with the way he died, drives him forward through a physical and challenging trek across the heart of the North American continent. A film that the Fredericksburg Standard calls “compelling” and “visually spectacular,” Mount Lawrence explores what you can find not just at the destination, but on the journey as well.
